*2020 - Present  Consultant / Vendor, Sacramento Employment & Training Agency (SETA)

*2016 - Provided technical assistance to Mason Tillman Associates, LLC, to secure a $965,000 professional services contract on Oakland’s Rapid Transit Route project.

*2013-2014 - Community Partnership for Families of San Joaquin in Stockton, CA – Provided staff training for Job Developers and Job Readiness Trainers.

*2011-2014 - Researching and writing employment and training book for Job Developers and job seekers. Created online videos to teach job search strategies for job seekers.

Richmond, CA – As a member of the Richmond CalGRIP Violence Reduction Program, Mr. Ross designed and facilitated Job Readiness Training for hard-core, active male and female gang members. Established the Richmond Academy for Positive Productions (RAPP) to teach gang members how to produce music with positive messages.

Recruited applicants and provided job readiness training to qualify hard-to-serve adults for enrollment in the college’s Career Technical Education (CTE) Program.

Designed and secured funding for a community employment program that provided Job Readiness Training and Job Placement Services. Trained Job Developers. 

San Francisco, CA - Designed Job Readiness Training program, created curriculum materials and facilitated workshops. Recruited, trained and supervised Job Developers.  Increased job placement outcomes by 1000%. Increased program funding by 200%

Hired as a member of consultant team that established San Francisco’s CityBuild Academy and secured initial funding of over $2-million to launch and operate the program. Today, CityBuild is recognized as a model program for training youth and adults from under-served communities in the construction & professional services fields.
