For over 15-years, Mr. Ross has provided basic and advanced training to Job Developers and Employment Specialists at Community-Based Organizations. In most of these assignments, job placement outcomes increased by 50% or more. Experience also includes providing basic and advanced training in the private sector for Executive Recruiters.
Mr. Ross has facilitated hundreds of workshops and training sessions for diverse groups of low-income, youth and adults at Community-Based Organizations, Union-sponsored Pre-Apprentice Training programs, and Community Colleges. Developed several thousand full-time jobs, including construction, non-construction, and professional services.
Monitored Union and Non-Union construction job sites for compliance with Local, State, and Federal prevailing wage compliance, apprenticeship standards, local hiring ordinances and other labor related guidelines and regulations. Designed compliance monitoring program, created compliance reports and audited Certified Payroll Records.
Mr. Ross has designed and created training curriculum including training videos, e-books, and workbooks for Job Readiness Training, Boot-Camp / Program Readiness Training, Life Skills Training Workshops, Pre-Apprentice Training Programs and Professional Services Training Programs.
As the sole grant writer and as a key member of grant writing teams, Mr. Ross has contributed to numerous grant writing projects that secured funds and resources from government entities, foundations, corporations, and private donors totaling over $50-million.

Richmond, CA – As a member of the Richmond CalGRIP Violence Reduction Program, Mr. Ross designed and facilitated Job Readiness Training for hard-core, active male and female gang members. Established the Richmond Academy for Positive Productions (RAPP) to teach gang members how to produce music with positive messages.
Recruited applicants and provided job readiness training to qualify hard-to-serve adults for enrollment in the college’s Career Technical Education (CTE) Program.
